Event Overview:

The Australian Institute of Health & Safety and the QLD Branch invite you to the Brisbane networking event to be held on Thursday 24 July 2025.

Join us for an engaging after-work networking session with fellow WHS professionals and industry peers. This event, hosted by the Australian Institute of Health and Safety (AIHS), is your chance to connect, unwind, and sharpen your thinking around a topic that sits at the heart of continuous improvement: auditing with purpose.

Our guest speaker will explore how effective audits can go beyond compliance to drive genuine safety outcomes. From aligning audit processes with organisational risk profiles to empowering frontline engagement, this session will offer fresh insights on building Safety Management Systems that matter—not just tick the box.

Whether you're a seasoned auditor, a safety leader, or new to WHS, you'll leave with practical takeaways and inspiration to make your auditing efforts more meaningful, strategic, and impactful.
