Certification is open to eligible AIHS Members only. If you are not currently an AIHS Member, the cost is $275 (inc GST).

To apply for certification, make sure you have the following documents and transcripts ready:

  • Your updated CV/Resume
  • Your academic transcript that showcases OH&S related subjects undertaken (other academic transcripts NOT related to the OHS industry will not be considered)
  • Your DCA (Demonstrated Capability Assessment) Report
  • 3 referees which MUST include 1 direct manager

Apply for Pathway 1 

Choose the type of certification you would like to apply for in Pathway 1.

Cost is $495 (inc GST) for all levels of certification pathway 1.
Upgrades are available from Practitioner to Professional and Professional to Chartered for $275 (inc GST).

Apply for Pathway 2 

Complete 6 modules and pass an exam for the Practitioner Pathway Program.

If you are in the OHS industry and have the relevant skills and experience to pass the OHS Practitioner Pathway 2 with less paperwork by taking the Pathway 2 Program onboard. 

Cost is $1,320 (inc GST) which includes:

  • 6 modules to complete
  • 1 exam
  • Certification application
