AIHS, John Holland and Area9 Lyceum have entered a partnership to bring adaptive learning technology to the construction sector.
Building on its successful application of Area9 Lyceum’s adaptive learning platform Area9 Rhapsode, John Holland is offering several of its health and safety modules, modified to suit the sector, in a partnership with AIHS. These modules are designed to produce higher levels of competency, reduce time and support overall improvement in safety outcomes.
Learning Outcomes

Working at/from Height planning
- Understand the guidance materials relating to working from heights
- Understand the roles of each person when working from height
- Completing risk assessment and planning
- Training requirements and frequency

- Understand all the requirements for working with scaffold
- Identify the hazards associated with scaffold
- Responsibilities for mobile scaffolding
MEWP
- Understand the considerations when using MEWP
- Emergency planning required when using MEWP
- Understand emergency planning
- Markings for trap doors and hatches
- Use of ladders and correct selection
Emergency
- Use of fall arrest systems
- Process in the event of emergency at height
- Travel restraint systems
Working at/from height monitoring
- Understand the frequency of Inspections and audits
Implementing working at/from heights
- Process if there is a safety event
