ICAM for Lead Investigators

ICAM is globally accepted and recognised as an effective process for leading incident investigations. Founded on the work of James Reason and the Swiss Cheese Model, ICAM aims to identify latent conditions and systemic issues within organisations that contribute or lead to an incident occurring.

ICAM Australia is pleased to be the leading provider in enhancing traditional ICAM content, to now incorporate modern safety science tools and techniques.

This two-day course has been crafted to cater to individuals who have been designated as Lead Investigators, regardless of their level of experience or the nature of the incident under consideration.

The primary objective of this course is to equip participants with a practical comprehension of the ICAM (Incident Cause Analysis Method), integrating contemporary safety science methodologies and tools including the facilitation and use of Learning Reviews.

Furthermore, the course endeavours to impart the essential knowledge and competencies necessary for the proficient leadership and facilitation of incident investigations.
