The following course work is provided as a pathway to Practitioner Certification. There is entry criteria for this course, so please ensure prior to registering you have checked your elligibility with certification@aihs.org.au
You will work through 6 modules, each with short quizzes. Once all modules have been successfully completed you will be booked into the Online Practitioner Exam.
Successful completion of all modules and exam will allow you to continue through to Practitioner Certification, which will require a capability assessment.
The following modules have been designed around the Core Areas identified for Practitioners;
- Legislation and Compliance
- Consultation and Participation
- WHS Risk Management
- WHS Management Systems
- Incident Response and Investigation
- Professional Practice
They are delivered to you so that you have an understanding of the level of knowledge required at Practitioner Level.
Once you have completed all modules you will be assigned the Practitioner Exam, this is where we will test your level of knowledge.
Successful completion of the Exam will allow you to apply for Certification at a Practitioner level, you can learn more about the Certification application process here and here
All Certification applicants must be full AIHS Members. Please apply for AIHS membership before submitting your application for the Practitioner Pathway Program.
