Police and WorkSafe are investigating a fatal incident on Wednesday 9th May involving a truck driver.
WorkSafe spokesman Michael Birt said the man aged 37 was crushed between a forklift and a scissor lift in the car park of a Preston factory.
It is believed he had been unloading stock.The lifts were on the back of a flatbed tray truck.
“At some point during that process he’s been crushed between the two pieces of equipment,” Mr Birt said.The man was found dead at the scene about 6.15am.
Police and WorkSafe investigators will prepare a report for the coroner.
