SIA Graduate Support Program

It is well recognised among the professions that a mentoring program can assist the successful transition from study to professional; however, as OHS professionals are often sole practitioner's suitable mentors are not always available in the workplace.

In order to address this, the Safety Institute of Australia, Victoria Division, has initiated a mentor program for 2009. Appropriately experienced and trained Chartered Professional Members, Fellows and Chartered Fellows of the Safety Institute of Australia are registered as mentors to assist up to 20 graduates.
