QLD releases new guide for farmers and rural workers

Workplace Health and Safety QLD have published a new guide designed to help rural industry employers and workers understand their health safety duties in the workplace. The guide has information designed to help reduce the number of fatalities and injuries on farms and in other rural industries. There are special sections on animal handling, chemicals and electrical hazards, and it was also covers asbestos, rollovers, confined spaces, high risk work, musculo-skeletal diseases, notifications and sun exposure.
