The AIHS invites all members to contribute to our celebration of AIHS membership value. The platform for this exciting initiative is based on sharing and extending awareness of our Five Pillars of Membership Value:

  • Trusted knowledge and information
  • Professional Development and lifelong learning
  • Connections
  • Contribution
  • Advocacy and policy

Through this initiative, the AIHS aspires to embrace the voice of our members. Here is an opportunity to share and extend your thoughts/reasons about why you are a member and/or what membership means to you.

We don’t promote and celebrate the value of membership very often, so we have decided it’s a good time to proudly do just that because health and safety people do better when they’re connected.

Collectively the AIHS is a profession coming together to raise itself, and this is more important now than ever. To extend awareness of the importance of the profession as a collective we are creating a series of short videos that embrace our members’ voice – your voice!

We are inviting you to share your story about why you are a member/or what membership means to you. We are working with a professional filmmaker who will be selecting and producing some of these messages to create short videos that celebrate AIHS membership value. These videos will be shared on our website, social media channels and other communication opportunities.

It’s not difficult to put something together on your phone (10-60 seconds) and send it through to us. We will be excited to hear your story and to share common messages to our community.
