Following a busy few months organizing and executing the national conference, it is now time to turn our attention to our state-based symposia. The symposia are organized by our state branch committees and reflect the interests, expertise, and knowledge gaps relevant to each region. They also provide a fantastic opportunity to network with local colleagues.
The AIHS symposiums visit each state and territory between August-November and include presentations covering a wide range of topics including regulatory updates, workplace bullying, WHS in construction, critical risk, governance and leadership and much more.
Our 2022 calendar of symposia are as follows:
9th August – Victorian Safety Symposium
31st August – SafeFest Tasmania
7th-9th September – Queensland Visions Conference
29th September – SafeFest New South Wales
20th October – SafeFest Victoria
21st October – South Australian Learning & Update Symposium
23rd November – SafeFest Australian Capital Territory
Dates and programs are still in development for our NSW, WA and NT symposia, so make sure to keep across our social media channels and EDMs to stay up to date with announcements.
Many of these programs are being presented in a hybrid format, with the option to attend virtually, so if a program in another state interests you, you can still benefit from the presentations with a reduced-rate virtual ticket.
We look forward to returning to a face-to-face format and seeing many familiar faces as well as meeting new ones!
