The Australian Institute of Health and Safety (AIHS) has partnered with FIFO Focus (FF) to bring you a seminar on how to create the perfect storm for psychological safety in the workplace.

According to a Harvard Business School Professor, Amy Edmondson, psychological safety is a belief that one will not be punished or humiliated for speaking up with ideas, questions, concerns, or mistakes. Fostering psychological safety has been proven to result in positive organisational outcomes but what needs to be in place from an individual, team, leader and work design perspective? In this webinar, Sandra will share what the research shows is required, to create the perfect psychological safety storm.

The WA branch will host a subsequent peer discussion face to face to understand the learnings and share good implementation practices. Refreshments will be kindly provided by FIFO Focus.

Sandra Lim, Managing Director, FIFO Focus (FF)

Sandra is the Managing Director of FIFO Focus, a psychology firm that empowers individuals to become mentally resilient, and supports organisations to handle the complexities of psychological health among remote workers. She is an endorsed organisational psychologist with over two decades of industry experience in the public and private sectors, in Australia and overseas. Throughout her career, Sandra has assisted organisations to improve organisational performance by making workplaces safer, more engaging, and more enjoyable. She does this by coaching individuals to become resilient and mentally tough, builds effective and psychologically safe teams, supports leaders to leverage their strengths and develop supportive characteristics, and partners with organisations to create psychologically healthy workplaces.
