Paving the Path for using Microsoft 365 in Health and Safety provides an overview of Microsoft 365 and the solutions it brings to health and safety. Hear from the Australian Industry Group and the Australian Industry Trade College on their experiences in using Microsoft 365 for their organisation's WHS management system and their plans for the future, and insights from Jo Kitney on how Microsoft 365 is a game-changer for making health and safety happen.  An opportunity for Q&A with the presenters to gain their further insights.

Jo Kitney, Managing Director. 

Jo is a member of the AIHS Certification Governance Committee and was the inaugural Chair from 2017 to 2022.  She is a Company Director and has 25 years’ of experience in occupational health, safety and business management with a particular interest in governance, strategy, resourcing,  management systems and developing capability in business. Jo has worked in the UK and Australia in manufacturing, health care, education, maritime and commercial sectors with small, medium, and large organisations.  

Jo is a:

Briony Coward, IT & Toolkit Team Lead, Kitney Toolkit 

Briony is a lawyer and IT professional, a creative technologist and independent thinker with proven leadership skills. She advocates to empower businesses to enrich their processes using technological solutions. As Kitney IT and Toolkit Team Lead, Briony leads a team of IT under and post-graduates, including Kitney’s Student Work Internship and Placement (SWIP) Program, exploring and developing the use of Microsoft 365 for health and safety and business management.

Briony’s specialist interests are cyber and information security and attends hackathons around Australia, with a focus on understanding how businesses can protect their IP and digital assets.

Jessica Mangan, WHS Advisor, Australian Industry Trade College 

Jessica has a wide industry background in health and safety across manufacturing, hospitality, recruitment, and education. She has specialist skills in safety management systems, occupational health, risk assessment, risk management, and behavioural based safety. One of Jess’ key roles in the Australian Industry Trade College has been to lead the design, development, and roll out of the organisation’s online WHS Management System using SharePoint/Microsoft 365. Jess worked with Kitney Toolkit to develop core skills in using SharePoint and securing ‘how’ health and safety will be managed for AITC’s campuses, student camps and placements.

Jess’s specialist interests are enabling and empowering health and safety and creating understanding and securing the role of health and safety within organisations.

Annette Alexander, Chief Safety Office, AI Group
Annette is an experienced WHS professional with a penchant for IT based OHS systems and solutions, taking the role of Chief Safety Officer in Ai Group in 2021. Annette is highly skilled at working with key stakeholders to establish strategic direction and securing outcomes. She is a skilled policy and programs document writer and am adept at risk management, risk assessment. Annette leads the Ai Group health and safety management system using SharePoint, Power Automate and Power Apps and using the potential that Microsoft 365 bring for online management systems.

Annette is also a qualified interior designer with a love of art, architecture and good design, all of which contribute to the skills she brings for designing and empowering health and safety management.

Trinette Jaeschke, National Manager - WHS Consulting Services 

Trinette is a highly experienced and skilled health and safety professional. She leads Safety and Workers' Compensation Advisers/Consultants and Contractors for the Ai Group delivering consulting services to members and non-members. Trinette is responsible for securing innovative and resourceful approaches to health and safety management, including supporting customers to understand how they can use their Microsoft 365 business licences for online health and safety management.

Trinette has specialist interests in coaching and supporting women to become confident, calm and productive, and overcoming hurdles and limiting beliefs so they can be happy, healthy and calm.
