A consortium between FIFO Focus, WHS Foundation (RTO #1907) and AIHS are proud to provide this specialist training program where you will increase your skills to respond to, investigate and/or manage incidents of sexual harassment in a trauma-informed fashion, reducing the risk of re-traumatisation & causing further harm.
This Two-Level 4-Day program is heavily subsidised by DMIRS under the WA Government’s Mental Awareness Respect & Safety (MARS) Program.
First 2 days of the program = Level 1: Do No Harm: Support And Trauma Informed Considerations
Last 2 days of the program = Level 2 Natural Justice: Reporting, Investigation & Dealing With Authorities
The program is designed to develop internal capability to support change in WA mining sector and improve the quality and experience of those affected by sexual harassment incidents in the WA Mining sector. The program will equip participants to respond to and/or conduct trauma informed sexual harassment investigations that protect the rights of both individuals and organisations and comply with best practice approaches.
Trigger warning: This course contains content that could be triggering or distressing for some individuals. If you are sensitive to this topic or have experienced sexual harassment in the past, please ensure you have some self-care strategies in place including a person to call for support.

All WA mining representatives responsible for, or involved in reponding to, investigating and managing incidents of a sensitive nature including:
Examples of supporting industry companies include transportation, camp/site services/management, and operational service providers.

Please note an additional $100 per unit of competency is required for those who wish to pursue Nationally Recognised Training. These assessment fees can be paid separately after attendance of the course.

Your Trainers and Coaches:
Level 1 trainers will be from FIFO Focus and are Registered psychologists, Endorsed Clinical Psychologists or Endorsed Organisational Psychologists.
Level 2 trainers will be from the WHS Foundation and are suitably qualified trainers with a legal and/whs background.
