Networking Event

On behalf of Australian Instiute of Health & Safety's Hunter Regional Network, we invite you to join us on Tuesday 2 July 2019, for a site tour of the Yancoal Mt Thorley Warkworth Open Cut Coal Mine site, where we will explore the current challenges in the NSW coal mining sector and the unique regulations mines are subjected to.

Guest Speakers Eric Lengling, Yancoal Health and Safety Superintendent and Deslee Jones, Yancoal Hygiene Advisor, will both be on hand to deliver a presentation which discusses the important issues and elements around 'Health, Safety and Hygiene in NSW Coal Mines.'

Following the presentation, the group will be taken on a tour of the mining workshop and be given the opportunity to get up close and personal with the large mining equipment followed by a breathtaking view of the open cut mine, and a possibility of seeing an explosive shot fired.
