The Australian Institute of Health & Safety invites you to join us on Monday 6 September 2021 for the scheduled webinar Going Digital to Drive Change at Sector Level – NZ Health Sector Case Study’ .

This session will share a practical case study across the New Zealand Health Sector that demonstrates how digital health, safety and well-being tools can be used to stimulate improved governance, leadership and due diligence in large, complex, public sector agencies. In this case study, as a result of a pilot project supported by the workers compensation insurer, Safe365 and three initial district health boards, critical insights formed a sector level response by all 20 CEO’s of NZ’s 20 DHB’s (the entire health sector, 9% of NZ GDP).  That sector response has led to all NZ DHB’s measuring, monitoring & benchmarking their Safe365 Safety Index, using the data generated to prioritise a national sector level strategy including specific workstreams that collaboratively address systemic vulnerabilities.

Based in Auckland, New Zealand, Safe365 is the 2021 IIRSM SME Risk Technology of the Year AND 2021 IIRSM Technology Risk Management Initiative of the year.

Learning outcomes for the audience

1. Understand practical application of using digital health & safety maturity assessment tools to generate Board & C-Suite understanding, engagement, and leader enablement.

2. Learn about using lead indicator data generated from scalable SaaS product Safe365 to underpin an evidence-based approach to sector level improvements.

3. Learn about complexities of managing system level change in a major sector within the economy (health) to support and stimulate other significant projects of this nature internationally.
