The WA Branch Committee of the Australian institute of Health & Safety is pleased to announce that the 2022 WA Safety Symposium will be held on 25th November 2022 at CURTIN University, Bentley. 

The theme this year, "Embrace – Adapt - Thrive"

A series of speakers will speak to the symposium theme, reflecting the progress in the WHS law reform, WHS practice in a dynamic modern workplace, navigating psychosocial hazards, and using research, technology and enhanced techniques to thrive and succeed practically.  

Our confirmed program of speakers include:Dr Andy Robertson (WA Chief Health Officer),  Mr Darren Kavanagh (WorkSafe Commissioner), Mr Chris White (Chief Executive Officer - WorkCover WA), Ms Zoe Nation (HFIntegration); Ms Sandra Lam (FIFOFocus); Dr Kim McClean (Director WHS and Adjunct Associate Professor); Dr Renee Carey (Senior Research Fellow – Curtin University); and Mr Michael Morgan (Managing Director WHS Foundations), and many more industry experts.

This sharing of the principles, intent and perspectives will be insightful to a broad cross section of public and private industry as well as academics and health and safety practitioners and professionals.
