Join us on Wednesday 17 March for the North West Sydney and Central Coast safety group Meeting

Topic: Thinking ergonomically: At home and in the workplace.

Presenter: Alice Cheng is the State Inspector of Ergonomics at SafeWork NSW

Many workers are still working from home due to the COVID-19 pandemic, while some are slowly returning to the workplace. Whether you are working from home or in the office, workers are exposed to various types of ergonomic hazards and risks.

As working from home becomes a more permanent arrangement, it’s time to re-assess our work environment and ergonomic set-up at home to ensure that we are keeping healthy and safe.

In this session, we will focus on:

  • Work health and safety obligations when working from home (employers and workers);
  • Ergonomic hazards and risks when working from home;
  • Hints and tips when working from home and returning to the workplace; and
  • Helpful resources.

This session will leave ample opportunity for discussion.
