The Australian Institute of Health & Safety, ACT Branch would like to invite you to join us for the High Reliability Organisations Workshop scheduled for Thursday 25 August 2022. Come review the theory and implementation of High Reliability Organisations and answer the question: Does HRO theory have practical use?
Facilitators Tony Mitchell and Peter Wilkinson challenge us to answer the question 'Does our current safety focus limits the effectiveness of our WHS management systems'?
KEY LEARNING OUTCOMES:
1. Review the OHS Professional Magazine article and challenge the theory of your organisation becoming a HRO.
2. Identify the strengths and limitations of HROs, and identify the most relevant HRO elements are for implementation in your organisation.
3. Review the focus of your current WHSMS and its effectiveness.
