The Australian Institute of Health & Safety (AIHS) and Elephant Ed are delighted to invite you to a unique opportunity to experience one of Elephant Ed’s high-impact workshops on preventing sexual harassment in the workplace on Thursday 15th June 2023. This workshop is designed to provide participants with an opportunity to experience an Elephant Ed workshop in order to showcase how the workshop would be delivered at their own workplace.

Building a more inclusive society and stamping out harassment, intolerance, and discrimination is crucial - all employees should feel safe and valued for who they are. The aim of this workshop is to create safer and more positive workplace cultures that prevent and stand up to sexual harassment, as well as to provide avenues for seeking help if required.

With the upcoming Respect@Work December deadline, this workshop is a timely opportunity for businesses to equip their staff with the knowledge and tools needed to prevent and address sexual harassment in the workplace. The workshop will cover a range of topics, including statistics around sexual harassment, definitions and overviews of sexual harassment, root causes, common forms of unwelcome sexual behavior, exploring bystander behavior, including bystander intervention strategies, and avenues to seek help.

By attending this workshop, participants will gain key insights into building a workplace culture that fosters inclusivity and safety. Following the workshop, attendees will have the opportunity to connect with the Elephant Ed team to explore how to best meet their obligations ahead of the Respect@Work December deadline.

Join us in breaking down barriers to safer, more inclusive workplaces, and help to create a culture where all employees can thrive.

Testimonial:

Loved the workshop. Great balance of engaging activities and information, with the facilitators creating a safe, friendly space from the get go. They adapted really well to our workplace's vibe and not only made us more aware of sexual harassment in the workplace, but also helped us formulate strategies to be an up-stander, rather than a bystander.
