Chris Wood, General Manager – People Performance Culture, Adelaide Crows
Chris is the General Manager People, Performance and Culture at Adelaide Football Club, which is a leading Australian Rules football club and sports entertainment business.
Chris is a focused, energetic, and professional Human Resources Leader. He has gained experience across a breadth of industry and cultures across Australia, Europe and North America.
To each role Chris utilises a strategic approach to delivering commercial results.
His drive and ambition to succeed through measurable achievements, has enabled him to develop an extensive breadth and depth of experience in maximising individual, team and organisational performance.
Chris exemplary skills in leadership, facilitating, developing, coaching and influencing key stakeholders. He is a resourceful thinker and seeks to challenge the ‘status quo’ in order to develop new ideas and solutions.
He has previously had roles in the retail, hospitality, leisure, FMCG, airline and resources industries. Chris has a decade of international experience in the USA, Canada, UK and Europe, and returned to Australia in 2008.
Chris holds an MBA from the Oxford Brookes University, UK.
