Membership of the College of Fellows recognises OHS/WHS professionals who are making a substantial ongoing contribution to, and have a record of high level achievement in, the field of WHS/OHS. Fellows are committed members of the Institute and leaders within the profession.
The Institute's College of Fellows Chair and Executive are delighted to announce that on-line Fellowship applications are now open. Applications will open for two periods each year in April and October. Each will be open for completed applications for about 6 weeks. The initial Fellowship application intake will close on Friday 15 November 2019. If you wish to apply, please make sure you read and address the document College of Fellows – Entry Criteria and Application Process and submit your on-line application with required supporting documentation when next intake opens. The volunteers who comprise the College of Fellows Awards and Membership committee will endeavour to make decisions on complying applications within three months and provide advice on the outcome.
The online application has six pages:
Page 1: Provide your current details including financial membership, membership category, certification category if relevant, and ethical declaration
Page 2: Address the remaining mandatory criteria
Page 3: Address non-mandatory criteria and describe professional experience, involvement with and commitment to the Institute and how you may have demonstrated substantial service to the profession
Page 4: Attach an up-to-date CV and two referee reports from Institute members (with their contact details) that briefly address how you fulfil the CoF Entry Criteria
Page 5: Attach details of your education and training qualifications
Page 6: Confirm your application has been submitted and received by the Institute
We welcome and encourage all AIHS members who meet the entry criteria to apply for Fellowship.
